Wells had such a fun birthdayweek. The day after his actual birthday, we took him to FAO Schwarz to pick out his gift.


He chose a Staten Island Ferry. We stopped by the Apple store (which was super crowded, underground and made me want to stick my head in an oven), and then tried the ferry out in the bathtub at the hotel. It didn’t float, but he didn’t care.

Later that day, we went to the Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center…

Then we went to Dylan’s Candy Bar…

When we got home, people asked me if we saw a Broadway show or The Statue of Liberty. We did not. But, we did see a bunch of famous people… John Corbett (Aiden from Sex and the City), Tommy Hilfiger, Busy Phillips (the blond girl on Cougar Town), David Lee (NBA player) and Vanessa Minnillo. Plus, Tobey Maguire was staying at our Hotel, and we saw him multiple times. I wish I had asked him to take a picture with Wells, since he is Spiderman and all. At least I took a picture of the couch he was sitting on in the lobby. Too bad I suck at photoshop.
