I got 99 problems but the beach ain’t one…
You’ve probably figured out by now that I love the beach. Good thing my family likes it as much as I do. On the way, we always try to stop for lunch at Felix’s in Mobile. It is super yummy, and I have been going there since I was a kid (back then it was called Pier 4). We stayed at Aunt T’s condo, and as usual, it was beautiful and comfy.
Nan and Lily were with us, and we had a great time at the beach (and at the pool, then back at the beach, then back at the pool) everyday.
We caught killed some starfish.
We got our money’s worth out of the boat…
Lily and I decided to take it out to a sandbar one afternoon. I was having a hard time pushing the boat and swimming against the current. She said, “You can do it, old lady,” and started singing Eye of the Tiger. She is very encouraging. G isn’t scared of the water… at all. Hence, the life jacket. He would run into the ocean, purposely fall down, fake call for help and then repeat.
And did a little booty shaking…
But, the highlight of the trip had to be the pressing of the elevator buttons. Multiple times per day, my children would body slam each other to be the first to press the call button. The floor button brought yet another round in the ultimate fighting championship. Children cried. People stared. Who knew elevator buttons could cause such a fuss? I was too busy refereeing to get any pictures. Sorry. However, I did take about 1200 other pictures while we were there. I hope you have a cup of coffee…
Have a great weekend!
