It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…
Sorry for the lack of posts. Did you think the tree fell on me or something? Well almost. I have been knee deep in these…
The last ones went in the mail today. Party. I love to get cards in the mail, don’t you? This is what I do with ours…
I don’t decorate a ton for Christmas because no one ever visits us (hint hint). Here is an overview…
I made that last thing, but still not sure what I think about it. We have been doing some Christmas crafts…
And making some cookies…
And I made these yummies last night…
Some folks call them “party sandwiches” (creative). Others call them “freezer sandwiches” (appetizing). Whatever you call them, they are delish.
1 lb Black Forest Ham
16 thin slices of Swiss Cheese
8 Hamburger buns or Sister Schubert dinner rolls
1 stick of melted butter
2 Tbl horseradish
3 Tbl Dijon mustard
2 Tbl Poppy seeds
Mix the last four ingredients together, and brush on the inside (top and bottom) of the bun. Layer ham and cheese, and brush a little more butter stuff on the top of the bun. Wrap tightly in aluminum foil and freeze until you are ready for them. To cook, place in a 400 degree oven (still wrapped in foil) for 35-45 minutes.
I hope you have a wonderful holiday with your loved ones. My loved ones are (literally) camped out by the tree waiting for Santa…
Merry Christmas!
